Question 1

Can Amello send WhatsApp messages to my customers?

Accepted Answer

Today Amello writes the message and designs the image, and you send them from your own WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business. Sending campaigns straight from Amello is coming soon.

Question 2

What is a win-back message?

Accepted Answer

A friendly message to regulars who haven't visited in a while. If you've connected Rista, Amello notices when 10 or more of your regulars have gone quiet for about three months and drafts a message to invite them back. It doesn't add a discount on its own, and it never features dishes you've marked as no-discount.

Question 3

Can Amello see my customers' phone numbers?

Accepted Answer

Amello never stores your customers' actual phone numbers. It keeps them only in a scrambled (hashed) form. Amello works with groups of customers, like "regulars" or "haven't visited in 90 days", not individuals.
