Question 1

Which POS systems does Amello connect to?

Accepted Answer

Rista. If you use a different POS, upload a sales export or your menu in chat and Amello will work from that.

Question 2

How do I connect Rista?

Accepted Answer

Go to Connected Apps, choose Rista and enter your User ID, account number and PIN. Amello doesn't keep these details. It uses them once to connect, then keeps only a secure connection key.

Question 3

What does connecting Rista unlock?

Accepted Answer

- your bestsellers and slow-moving dishes
- sales by item, channel and time of day
- how much you're spending on discounts
- your regulars and the customers who've stopped coming

You can ask about any of it in chat, and export the numbers as a spreadsheet.

Question 4

What happens right after I connect Rista?

Accepted Answer

Amello drafts three Instagram post ideas, two for your bestsellers and one to lift a slow mover. If enough regulars have stopped coming, it also writes a message to bring them back. Everything waits for your approval.

Question 5

I have several outlets on Rista. Which one is used?

Accepted Answer

Each Amello account is linked to one Rista outlet. Amello matches it automatically, or asks you to pick.

Question 6

Can Amello change anything in my Rista account?

Accepted Answer

No. Amello only reads your Rista data. It never changes your menu, prices or anything else in Rista.
